Comfort Hotel Gifu

Very good location for me. The Hotel is 3-5 walk just north of Gifu station and another 5min walk to a nightlife area, Tamamiyachō, which has plenty of bars and Izakaya’s and friendly locals. My room was clean and spacious, with many room amenities on offer at reception. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet varied both days with plenty of options to cater for everyone. I thought the food was really good and set me up well for both days I was visiting. This was a busy hotel which I liked the experience of. It’s fun squishing into a packed elevator in the morning. Breakfast is busy as there were many visitors or workers passing through, however, it didn’t affect my ability to eat breakfast as there’s plenty of room for everyone. The hotel does indicate that it can be very busy in the morning. I do not see this as a negative observation more of a fun experience. Would definitely stay here again when I travel back to Gifu City.

Excellent front desk services. The employees here are warm and always helpful and help me to handle invoices problems. Also,the hotel is nice located near jr station, supermarket, and convenience store. The room is relatively small but clean and well-equipped. The breakfast is delicious. All, the hotel is business friendly for me.

Good location, just 3-5 minutes walk from JR station, staff is nice and helpful, room is clean and quiet, breakfast is nice and simple. However, I think the price is slightly higher than usual during F1 weekend.

Convenient location opposite train station. Good restaurants nearby. Reasonable breakfast selection. Very quiet room.

Although the staff who helped me check in did not speak to me in English, she was extremely clear and patient while I tried to understand her. She made my experience checking in smooth and easy. Also, the room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and had a great view of the station!
